1. Who is responsible for this website
This website is operated by Leo Falcon (the “Controller”), reachable at [email protected]. The Controller is based in Uruguay, and personal data processed through this website is handled in accordance with Uruguayan Law No. 18.331 on the Protection of Personal Data and the Habeas Data Action, together with its regulatory decrees.
2. What data this website processes
- Email contact. If you write to the address published on this site, the Controller receives your email address, the name you provide, and the content of your message. This data is used solely to respond to you.
- Local preferences.The site stores your theme choice (dark or light) and a one-time intro flag in your browser’s local storage. This information never leaves your device and is not transmitted to the Controller or to third parties.
- No analytics or tracking. This site does not set advertising or analytics trackers and does not build visitor profiles.
3. Purpose and legal basis
Contact data is processed on the basis of your consent, expressed by writing to the published address, and for the legitimate purpose of answering your inquiry (Articles 5 and 9, Law No. 18.331). Data is not used for other purposes and is not sold or shared with third parties.
4. Retention
Correspondence is kept only as long as necessary to handle the inquiry and any follow-up, after which it is deleted, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
5. Hosting and international transfer
This website is served by a hosting provider whose infrastructure may be located outside Uruguay. Where an international transfer of personal data occurs, it is carried out in accordance with Chapter IV of Law No. 18.331 concerning adequate levels of protection.
6. Your rights
Under Law No. 18.331 you have the right to access, rectify, update, include, or delete your personal data, and to exercise the habeas data action. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected]. You may also file a complaint with the Unidad Reguladora y de Control de Datos Personales (URCDP), the Uruguayan data protection authority.
